Daily Astro Report: Friday October 9th

[00:00:00] Foreign. [00:00:06] You're listening to Katie, you are Durango and this is the Astro of the Day report with Jamie, Rhiannon and Rai from Three of Cups Astrology. This is Ry with your report for Friday, October 9, 2026. Beautiful day, beautiful day. Okay, so our big ticket item today is Luna shifting out of Virgo and into Libra. Libra's ruling planet is Venus, which means for the next 2ish days our inner worlds are going to be influenced by that Venus retrograde. [00:00:32] This can feel exposing. Libra loves balance, it loves levity, and it loves beautiful nice things. [00:00:39] Under the weight of this retrograde, your inner attachments to whatever themes the house Libra sits in for you might come up for evaluation. [00:00:47] Are whatever values that live here actually supporting your emotional body? Are you truly in balance between your internal and external world? With the sun also sitting in Libra, it might feel like a spotlight is being shown on anything that is out of balance. And my personal gut read on this short transit is that themes around over consumption of low quality goods could become hot topics. [00:01:09] Similar to Mercury, Venus also pulls double duty under both the traditional and modern systems. Along with airy light Libra, Venus also rules grounded stable Taurus, where Libra embodies levity and balance. The Earth sign Taurus roots into the sensual stable side of the Venusian coin. [00:01:27] Both romantic, both pleasure seeking, both in tune with the finer things in life, and both deeply impacted by a retrograding Venus. If you have Libra or Taurus in any of your Big three, it might feel really supportive to adopt regular check ins for your heart, body and soul. Of course, anytime, but especially during Venus Retrograde. [00:01:47] This has been your daily report with Three of Cups Astrology. Tune back in tomorrow for more on what magic the stars are getting up to.
