[00:00:13] This is Rai with your report for Saturday, October 3, 2026. Buckle up Buttercups. The crunch of Venus throwing it in reverse on the midnight soil hath arrived. Is she painful? Is she daring? Is she transformative? Only time will tell. So here's the deal. Venus goes retrograde once every 18 months or so, meaning that she only retrogrades in a specific sign once every eight years. [00:00:35] The last time Venus retrograded in Scorpio was from October to November of 2018 and can give you some insight into what area of your life you'll likely feel this the most in Ideally, we've all been doing the work the last eight years that the last retrograde demanded of our value systems, self, love and finances, and this will feel more like a review from a few rungs up on your upward spiral. You most likely already know exactly what this retrograde is emphasizing for you as it's been percolating up to the surface since the pre retrograde Shadow began on September 10th. Venus retrogrades are famed for lasting an incredible 40 days and 40 nights, which means after retrograde and post retrograde shadow is all said and done, Venus will have been in Scorpio for the majority of three months, which is the sign of her detriment. This retrograde does give us a little reprieve in the middle as she dips into her home sign of Libra for a short stay dent before speeding back up and going direct. But don't be surprised if whatever house Scorpio sits in your chart is ripe with intensity, passion and depth for the end of the year. We also have Mars and Leo entering into its exact opposition with Pluto, meaning this retrograde's rulers are toeing off and dragging the ways you protect your ego and the ways you need to take action up from the underworld with it.
