[00:00:18] The thing about journeys to the underworld is that there's rarely only ever one jump scare, and the next few days remind us that even in small doses, things that go bump in the night can be jarring. Today's first signature is the sun and Libra opposing a retrograding Saturn in Aries.
[00:00:35] This alone can be a very restricting aspect, but there's some nuances I actually want to call attention to here.
[00:00:41] Venus is the ruler of Libra, which means at this moment the sun in Libra is actually being ruled by that retrograding Venus in Scorpio.
[00:00:50] Meaning our sun is currently already operating at a bit of a deficit here.
[00:00:55] Retrograding Saturn in Aries is being ruled by Mars, which is currently in Leo in that opposing standoff with Pluto in Aquarius, both of which are squaring Scorpio, who does Pluto and Mars rule? Yep, that's right, Scorpio.
[00:01:12] All to say, not only is Scorpio inviting us to the depths this quarter, it is doing so with an enigmatic level of range. You might feel lackluster today, or like you're wearing a shirt that the shoulders are too tight in reroute without shame and trust that this crunchy moment will pass.
[00:01:28] Our second signature is that the Moon will be shifting into Leo, lighting up our inner worlds with feelings of warmth, grandeur and compassion.
[00:01:35] If everything is going to be crunchy, at least the Moon is giving us permission to sift through the crunch with a little extra dose of heart.
[00:01:42] Finally, Mercury in Scorpio is slowing down and entering into its pre retrograde shadow today. Oddities, peculiarities and hang ups that could be bigger hurdles once Mercury officially goes retrograde will start to creep up. Over the next week here at Three of Cups, we'll personally be screenshotting, note taking and keeping track of anything out of sorts in typical Scorpio fashion so we can be a little more prepared for whatever curve balls might be headed our way.
